Our newly established Parent Teacher Association is known as SWIFT (Shirley Warren In Friendship Together) We are a friendly group who meet at least once a term to plan events for the children that will also raise money for the school. This year we are raising money for a new library and also to revamp the Year R playground.

 

Our aims and objectives

Our main aims are to advance the education of pupils by:

1) Getting parents and carers more involved in school life – including social events 

2) Improving links between parents, the school and the local community 

3) Fundraising and accessing grants

4) Engaging in activities or providing facilities and/or equipment which support the school and advance the education or life-experiences of the pupils.
