This half-term the children in Year 6 have been studying the Beatles. They have focused on the STRUCTURE of the songs and have learned to play the chord progressions for Yellow Submarine, Twist and Shout and Let it Be on the Ukulele. The have also looked closely at the meaning the lyrics during Guided Reading time. 

Some children have carried out research at home to create fantastic fact-files on the Beatles as part of their home learning.
