Phonics in Reception 

When pupils start with us in Reception, we continue to develop their understanding of Level 1 Phonics, building up to Level 1+ and completing Level 3 by the end of the year. As children begin Phonics in Reception, lessons will become more structured and will allow for focused reading and writing opportunities.
